Night VFR

Flying at night time is magical and beautiful. However, in order to be allowed to fly between the sunset and sunrise at VFR conditions one needs to obtain additional rating N-VFR (Night VFR). To obtain this rating you need to go through a theoretical training comprising 8 hours of lectures and practical training.

The latter one may be performed according to the course you will choose:

  • JAR: 6 hours
  • ICAO: 12 hours

Both courses will empower you with identical ratings, however the ICAO program introduced by Bartolini Air is more comprehensive with emphasis on the night navigation. It will allow you to perform night flights with more confidence, without the fear of loosing orientation, thus, more safely. Still, the choice of the course is up to you. You also get to choose the instructor and type of aeroplane you want to be trained on.

To be able to train for N-VFR you need to either be finishing the course for PPL(A) licence or already have the aforementioned licence.

We would like to invite you to courses for N-VFR licence. How to sign up for a course? It's as simple as downloading the application form, filling it in and sending it back to info@bartolini-air.com
